Gombakians Take Back Lessons and Fond Memories from District Assembly 2009
The Rotary Club of Gombak’s blue jackets were seen everywhere at the recently concluded 75th District 3300 Assembly in Kuantan, Pahang. Held on 17-19 April 2009, the family of Gombak sent a delegation of 19 to the Assembly, which serves as a training weekend for the leaders of Rotary. The Assembly also saw the installation of our own Past President Leslie Salehuddin as District Governor for the Rotary Year 2009-2010. He formally takes over as the Governor of District 3300 on 1 July 2009. Read the story »
Gombak Continues School Feeding Programme
The Rotary Club of Gombak continued its School Feeding Programme with Convent Sentul. The programme allows for 30 needy children to receive a nutritional meal daily, while they are at school. Read the story »
Meeting of 16 April 2009 – How to Cover 32,000 Miles in Four Weeks
Our Honorary Treasurer, Douglas Brown, spoke on “How to cover 32,000 miles in four weeks - A journey of reflection and family”. Douglas spent a month in the United States recently to visit his family, and gave us a very personal pictorial presentation of his trip home. Read the story »

March – Literacy Month and so much more
March is indeed a very busy month for Gombakians. First up, Pre-PETS II took place at the end of February going into this month. Then, on 3 March, we had the District’s Rotary Integrity Night, which was held at the Royal Lake Club. 4-8 March was the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards in Lumut, Perak.
